The annual meeting of crystal growers in Germany, Deutsche Kristallzüchtungstagung 2026, will take place from March 4 to 6, 2026, at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

Thematically, the DKT2026 offers a platform for technical discussion and will cover the following topics:

• Crystal growth of intermetallics with spin- and charge correlations
• Growth methods for optical crystals
• Fabrication and characterisation of bulk semiconductors
• Oxide, dielectric and laser single crystals
• Simulation of crystal growth processes
• Epitaxy of III/V semiconductors
• Ultrathin layer systems and growth kinetics
